Why it exists

Starting a project means choosing a dozen services: hosting, a database, auth, email, payments, monitoring, maybe an AI model. Each one has its own free tier, its own limits and its own way of billing, and the surprises tend to show up the month you start getting users.

MyStackPlan puts those choices on one page. You pick a service for each part of your app, or answer a few questions and let us pick, then see what each piece costs from your first visitor to a hundred thousand users, which free tiers stop working and where you are paying twice for the same thing.

What you get

  • Checked prices. Every price is read from the provider's own pricing page and dated.
  • Traps up front. Free plans that ban commercial use, pause when idle or cap you daily are badged on the card, not buried in the terms.
  • Overlap warnings. If your database already includes logins, we tell you before you add a second login service.
  • A prompt for your AI assistant. Export the stack you picked as instructions for Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT or v0.

Who it is for

Beginner developers, indie hackers, founders and small teams choosing a stack for a new product, and anyone who wants the cheapest honest way to put a site online.

How we stay honest

  • Official sources only

Every price comes from the provider's own pricing page, docs or API. Third-party lists are never a source.

  • Dated, and re-checked

Each plan shows the day it was checked. Anything older than 90 days is flagged for a fresh check.

  • No pay-to-rank

Affiliate links, if a provider has one, never change which service looks cheapest or is picked for you.

  • No accounts, no tracking of your stack

Your stack lives in the link. Analytics only runs if you allow it, and never sees what you picked.

The details are in how we verify prices and the affiliate disclosure.
