  • Sized by you: the builder prices the cheapest plan with at least the server size set in "How usage is estimated" (1 GB by default). You manage updates, security and backups yourself.
  • Price is the USD figure Hetzner lists for Germany and Finland, excluding VAT and excluding the IPv4 address.
  • A public IPv4 address is billed separately. Hetzner's Primary IP docs list $0.60 a month (that page was last edited in 2022, so check the current price).
  • Only outgoing traffic counts. Hetzner bills any extra in 100 MB blocks. The overage rate is not published in the sources we checked; check Hetzner before exceeding.
  • Hetzner also bills a server that is switched off, until you delete it. Backups cost 20% of the server price.
