  • SendGrid says overage charges may apply past a plan's volume and that upgrading usually beats paying them, but it does not publish the overage rate.
  • Twilio retired the Free Email API plan in 2025 (announced May 27, 2025; sending paused after a 60-day transition).
  • New accounts get a 60-day trial instead: 100 emails a day, no credit card, and sending stops when it ends unless you pick a paid plan. The trial is not listed as a plan because it expires.
