Limits
  • CI minutes: 400 minutes a monthCompute minutes on GitLab-hosted runners, per top-level group
  • Team seats: 5 seatsUsers per private top-level group
  • Signing up does not need a card, but GitLab asks for a card (a $1 verification that is not charged) before you can use its shared runners. Your own runners need no card and have no minute limit.
  • Compute minutes are job time multiplied by a cost factor. A small Linux x86 runner has factor 1; medium is 2 and large is 3, so bigger runners use the 400 minutes faster.
  • When the minutes run out you can buy extra packs ($10 per 1,000 minutes, one-time payment, which roll over) or upgrade.
  • The 5-user cap applies to private top-level groups only. Includes 10 GiB of Git and LFS storage per project.
