Request-based billing
Pay as you go
- At the limit
- Bills for extra usage
- Usage pricing
- Function requests: $0.4 per 1M requests (above 2M requests)
- Function compute: $0.0000025 per GB-second (above 360K GB-seconds)
- Function CPU time: $0.000024 per vCPU-second (above 180K vCPU-seconds)
- Prices are for Tier 1 regions such as us-central1 (Iowa). Other regions cost more.
- CPU is billed at $0.000024 per vCPU-second while a request is being handled, with the first 180,000 vCPU-seconds a month free. It is about ten times the memory rate per second, so it is usually the larger part of the bill.
- The estimate assumes each instance handles one request at a time. With higher concurrency, requests share an instance's CPU and memory, so the real bill can be lower. CPU per function comes from the 'Function CPU (vCPU)' assumption.
- The free tier is part of every billing account, shared across projects, and is not a separate plan. Billing is rounded up to the nearest 100 ms.
- Instance-based billing (CPU always allocated, 240,000 vCPU-seconds and 450,000 GiB-seconds free) is a different pricing mode and is not modeled.
- Outbound internet data transfer is billed separately, with 1 GiB free per month within North America.
